Rosemary Gorman, age 85, of Avon Park, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Sebring, FL. Rosemary was born to parents Benjamin H. Miller and Dorothy Ruth (Schmidt) Miller in Muskegon, MI on December 5, 1936. Rosemary was most proud of her family and side business Sid’s Coffee Shop and Used Books. She enjoyed painting, birds and her cats and was always lending a helping hand to others.
Surviving are her daughters – April Fischer of El Portal, CA, Laurie LaMay of Ravenna, MI, and Sherri (Bob) Pavlik of Avon Park, FL; sons – Ronald “Rick” (Marcia) Schoonfield of Muskegon, MI, and Greg “Skip” Gorman of Hudsonville, MI; 19 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great, Great Grandchildren, and sisters – Kathleen Miller Thomas (Chuck) and Benita Hollenbeck. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband – Sidney Edward Gorman, Jr., son – Thomas Francis Gorman, both parents, and Granddaughter – Rachel LaMay.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Highlands Community Church, 3005 New Life Way, Sebring, FL 33870. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chapters Health Hospice at:
