Rosita Takach Obituary
May 18, 1949 - April 23, 2025
Rosie passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. She was 75 years old. She was born in Bakersfield, California, but resided the better part of her life in Sacramento, California.
Rosie was the Financial Aid Managing Counselor for Sacramento State University for 36 1/2 years.
She had a passion for running and working out with her many KAIA Fit girl friends over the past decade. She loved to run 5k's, but also ran several 10k and 15k races...and has the medals to prove it.
Her greatest joy was being a grandmother! She lit up a room when she spoke of her grandsons, Mikael and Ryan. She shared their stories and photos with pride and a smile that only a MomMom Rose could wear.

A call at just the right time
A text with her signature emoji kiss
Always showing up for the important events in her family's lives.
Rosie is survived by:
Her devoted husband David
David's brothers Michael and Peter (his spouse, Peggy) and niece, Rachel
Her loving son, Nick and his wife, Beth
Her adored grandsons, Mikael and Ryan
Her sister and confidant, Paula and her husband, Beto
And their children, Beto Jr, Leticia and Vicky...and their children and grandchildren and the rest of the loving Sanchez family
Her sister Lydia and her children
Her dozens of family friends and neighbors including Dave and Terry Fiscus and Delores Johnson.
Rosie was the most generous, selfless and self-sacrificing person you would ever know. She would volunteer to take neighbors and friends to the airport, hospital or doctor appointments when they couldn't get there themselves. She would take the time to bring a homeless person a meal whenever possible. She also, without hesitation, donated her kidney to her husband, David 23 years ago.
Plans for a Celebration of Life will be forthcoming, with details to be announced.

My sister-in-law Rosie was a patient and incredibly thoughtful person, blessed with a warm, God-given charm and laughing eyes. She didn't rush through life, she took her time to observe and smell the roses. She took inordinate time to express herself and listened patiently to what you had to say, too. She had more interest in what you thought and felt. Rosie had a wonderful life, with so many loving family and friends, and her husband David by her side to share their amazing life together. It's true she left us too soon, but he and we all must take comfort in the many equally wonderful memories we have forever to cherish.

Miss you tia. But I know you are reunited with grandma and the rest of your brothers and sisters in Heaven. I Thank you for being a big part of my life growing up and in my kids life. I will miss sending you pictures of their accomplishments or just any Day photos to show how they were doing with the saying:Love the Ochoa´s And you would send back a little message: saying thank you lety for including me in their special day with an emoji kiss or hearts.

I will never forget how welcoming and kind you were when I first met you at Kaia Natomas.
Whether it was one of your funny stories, or walking the Hot Chocolate 5K with you last year, having your always supportive ear to listen to me vent during our monthly coffee klatches at Bella Bru were always a highlight for me to look forward to. I´m glad I got to see you last month before you passed.
I love you Rosie, and will miss you so very much.
