I am deeply saddened to hear that Ross has passed away. Ross and I were great mates growing up in Belmont North in the 50s, 60s and early 70s. We were close friends all through our school and apprenticeship years. Ross and I joined the CMF together and served in the same unit. It is Anzac day today I was remembering the times Ross and I had in the CMF and decided to try and make contact when I found this memorial site. Ross was my best man at my wedding and that sums up how much I thought of him. I know it has been over 2 years and there's a chance no one will read this, but if you do, I want you to know that Ross was an exceptional person, a great guy and a real mate who will never be forgotten.

What a shock to hear of the passing of Ross. What a great bloke and a pleasure to have worked with, to have known and to have called a friend. Dearest Sue, my thoughts, prayers and love to you and the family at this very sad time. RIP Ross, you will never be forgotten and will always be a mate.
