Ross passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2022, at St Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, Minnesota. The funeral service in his honor will be held July 16, I' at Hubbard United Methodist Church, in Hubbard, MN, at 11:00.
The youngest son of Pat (Bender) and Frank Beaumont, he was born in the middle of a snowstorm that shut down the whole state, on March 3, 1965, at Wesley Hospital, Wadena, Minnesota. The family home was in Sebeka. Ross was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He attended Sebeka School and graduated in 1983. Ross was very active in school as a student manager of several sports teams. He attended Wadena Technical College earning a degree as a telephone line man. He held several jobs working for Chevrolet in Wadena, Sebeka, and Long Prairie before joining the property management company, DW Jones. He had been with DW Jones for 28 years and was still employed there at the time of his passing.
He was an active citizen of Sebeka, serving on the City Council, a Fireman, and First Responder. He also worked for the DNR at the Nimrod Fire Tower, first as a fire fighter and later as a dispatcher. Probably his most rewarding job of all was the Sebeka School Bus he drove for 28 years. He had many routes through the years but was driving his favorite, west of Sebeka, which he had just finished at the end of the school year. He loved the kids, and they were his family. He always treated them to gift certificates, or $2 bills at the end of each year. He even planned to drive for Menahga Schools when he was retired!
He co-owned a beautiful summer home on Duck Lake, and he bought a huge pontoon and used it only to tour family and friends around his dear lake! Absolutely NO FISHING allowed!! He loved to relax with a glass of iced tea, in a chair viewing the lake, and enjoy what he called "the million-dollar breeze”.
Survivors include his mother, Pat Beaumont of Menahga, brother Paul Beaumont and family of Highland, California & Park Rapids, MN, two half-sisters and three half-brothers including Holly Finer and family of Bloomington MN., Lynn Hanson and family, of Delano, MN, David Barnum and family of Nevis, MN, Scott Barnum and family of Bloomington, MN, and Greg Beaumont and Family (Rockville, MN). Aunts Cynthia White of Bemidji, MN, and Marguerite Kause of Vienna, VA. Special friends, Henrik Dannert of Stockholm, Sweden, and Scott Wilson of Park Rapids, MN. His significant other Mindy Tanner and their precious dog, Atlas of Menahga MN. Many nieces and nephews and cousins too numerous to mention.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Beaumont, his grandparents Bender and Beaumont, three uncles, four aunts and 2 cousins.
We say farewell to this BIG, handsome generous, caring man, as he drives his favorite school bus to heaven! Please come to his service prepared to share a favorite memory of Ross and to dress casually as he would! His friend Pastor Loren Ferch will conduct the service. Also join us for visiting and lunch after the service in the fellowship hall.
The family requests that Memorials be sent to Sebeka School, District 820 to be used for the fund at the BUS GARAGE (hopefully to build a new facility).

Pat & families,
Ross is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. I wish you healing and peace. My fondest memories was when Frank visited our family farm with his family. Ross & Paul were especially a hoot and a joy to have around to play with. That was a long time ago and good memories. Peace.

FIRST and for most i want to let all of Ross's family and friends know that they are in my thoughts and prayers and im so sorry for your loss... I was so shocked to see such a incredible caring giving man that Ross was and he was also so much more than just that he was selfless and would take his shirt off if it meant keeping someone else warm that didn't have the ability to keep warm and he wouldn't hesitate to help someone who was in need without questioning their reasons qa to WHY they are without the necessities to survive and live . he would always stop by job at the group home whenever he would be in the perham area just to visit which made my night go by so much faster and i enjoyed every minute of it. Again all of Ross's family and friends know that you All are in my thoughts and prayers in your time of need aa you mourn the loss of such an incredible man as we all know ROSS was .

Ross was my maintenance man for the eleven years that I was at Blueberry Hill Apartment. Ross always did a fantastic job at everything he did! I moved to TX a few years ago, but I did talk to him a few weeks before he was sick. I am so truly saddened for this loss. Prayers for the family and all of us that cared so much.
