Ross Lindquist Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Dec. 30, 2022 to Jan. 1, 2023.
Ross A. Lindquist, 73, passed away on December 14th, 2022. He was born in Bellingham, WA on June 17th, 1949, to Reynold and Goldie (Benson) Lindquist. Following the death of his father Ross and his family moved to Cook, MN. He lived in Cook for five years; after graduating high school he moved back to Bellingham.

Ross was a heavy equipment mechanic in the logging industry for most of his career. Some of the things he enjoyed were music, football, race cars, old cars, Harleys, Billy Graham, Rush Limbaugh, and building things. Ross owned and drove sprint cars for a number of years and enjoyed crabbing and spending time in the San Juan Islands on his Bayliner.

Above all Ross loved the Lord and read his Bible faithfully.

Ross was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather, and all his aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife Suzanne of 25 years, five stepchildren and nine grandchildren. Sisters Shireen (Garry), Tania (Ben), and Taryn. Brothers, Jon (Judy), Brian (Deb), and eight nephews, two great nieces, and one great nephew and numerous cousins.

Ross will be greatly missed by family and friends. A private burial will take place at Greenacres Cemetary in Ferndale, WA.

A Memorial Service will be held at Cornwall Church on Wednesday, January 18th at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Whatcom Hospice or an organization of your choice.

Dear Sue, I so wish I was there today. I will be thinking of you this afternoon. Thank you for being so good to him.

Goodbye, my sweet brother. It's starting to feel real now. And I really don't like it. But you are finally where you have wanted to be, and life will be wonderful. Whole again. No more pain. I'm so happy for you. Please watch over Tania as she has her brain surgery. Ask Jesus to keep her safe. I will miss you till forever. Give Mama a hug for me. Do they have Sprint car racing up there?

You are in our prayers. It is never easy to lose those we cherish. Ross held a special place in the hearts of Jim, Jeff and I from the short time he lived with us when he worked at Boeing. He was our cool cousin with the hotrod Chevy that would take us to Dairy Queen for Dilly Bars.

Suzanne and family. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
