It's been almost 1 year now ( 2 days short of) and I miss Ross and think of him very often.
His cute and funny mannerisms, his love of the funny things in life, and his easy going acceptance of the things of life

Dear Kevin and the McSween family,
For as long as I can remember, Mr. McSween was a coach and supporter of Triwood hockey. He would always be ringside, either coaching or in the stands. Everybody liked him for his soft-spoken demeanor, good-nature and warm personality. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family at this time.

Dear Shirley and Family,
We were very sorry to hear of Ross's passing. He was such a great guy. He was always volunteering down at the rink or coaching a hockey team. We remember him telling us how much he liked to take the kids/ grandkids to the zoo when ever he could. Hopefully your memories of him will help you through these difficult and sad days ahead of you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To the McSween Family,

I was terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Ross. I could never properly convey what an impact Ross had on my life. He taught me to believe in myself and he showed me the value of team and community. I cherish those days with "Coach Ross", Glenn and Davie as a child and an adult. My deepeset sympathies to all of you. I'm sure your grief is difficult but I hope you can take comfort in such a great legacy from a great man. Ross will clearly live on in the thoughts of all he influenced. I'm smiling thinking about some of those times right now.

Best Wishes,

Dear McSween family,
I had the privilege of meeting & getting to know Ross when my sister Danell met Kevin. He was always grinning and so easy to talk with. He would surprise me at my place of business in Peachland, hopping out of the motorhome with Shirley and grinning from ear to ear, you could tell he was enjoying life. What a blessing those short visits were, I will miss them but will always cherish the infectious joy he spread. Lean on each other during this hard time and remember his smile.

My fondest memories of Uncle Ross are the times spent with him at family gatherings. He always made a point of talking to everyone, and always had a tale or two to tell. He made you feel like you were the most important person to him. Christmas Eve at Mom's just won't be the same without him. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the McSween Family members as they strive to carry on with a most loved part of their family missing. Love Delphine & Ashley

To the McSween Family,

I want to tell you I was saddened to hear about the passing of “Coach”.
I don’t need to tell you all the things that’s he did around the community to give all the kids and adults the opportunity to not only play sports but to help us with our life skills.
What I would like to do is thank Ross again for all the times whether it was driving to Nanton riding in the back of his truck with Davie to play lacrosse or his involvement with the Triwood Flyers Hockey team or answering question about electrical work, he was always there for me.

My thoughts are with you.

Dear McSween Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Mr. McSween's passing. He was such a great guy. I will always remember him tying my skates for me when I was a little kid at the Triwood rink. He helped so many kids get into sports. What a great legacy.

I was saddened today to learn of the passing of Ross. He was my coach many years ago at Triwood. Glenn will remember winning the Provincials in Edmonton in 1975. Ross helped me get a summer job at the gas plant in Okotoks and I was the DJ at Glenn and Anita's wedding. When I first took up coaching minor hockey I called Ross for some advice. I wish I had called more often. When I think of the men who influenced me growing up I always think of my coach Ross.
