Deepest sympathy to the family. I was stunned with the news. We went through elementary and high school together. We got back in touch thanks to facebook. His pride in his daughters shone through in this postings. He will be greatly missed.

I was shocked to read of Ross's sudden passing. He was in my Grade 4 class at Royal George in 1967, one of the many wonderful pupils I had that year. My heartfelt condolences to all the family.

My condolences to "Auntie Ethel", Bev and the whole family. Bev, Ross and I spent so much time together as kids, weekends every summer in Vermont. Our paths parted but the memories are still there.

So sad to learn of Ross's sudden passing. He was a mentor and friend through my first years in journalism, first on the Globe news desk then at Montreal magazine. I'm so glad I had the chance to see him again in August and hear how proud he was of his beautiful daughters. My thoughts are with all those he loved most.

My deepest sympathies to all of the family - I also worked with with Ross at Montreal Magazine - many years ago. We had re-connected a couple of years ago and kept our friendship up. This summer we had a wonderful reunion, sharing so many memories and laughs....always so many laughs. He will be deeply missed.

To Ethel, Bev, Deb, Katya and Jenna

George and I were shocked to learn of Ross's passing. We have known the family for the last 38 years as neighbours on Evelyn Street, which we have very fond memories. May friends and family be of some comfort at this time. You are all in our prayers.

My condolences to all the family. I worked as managing editor of Montreal Magazine with Ross many years ago and this summer we held a magazine reunion with Montreal Magazine co-workers. Ross hadn't changed and we reminisced about all the good times we had back then. I was shocked and saddened to see the news.

My sincerest sympathies to the Teague family. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Ross. I will always remember him fondly and feel blessed that we had the pleasure of knowing him; to be able to share many a conversation and dinner together. We used to pass each other on our way to our respective work places, so as I walk through Dorchester Park every day, I will think of him. I will miss Ross and his friendship.

Even back in high school Ross was one to be admired by all with his gentle ways and sharp mind. I was always proud to point out his journalistic accomplishments from over here on the west coast. RIP Ross, you've left a legacy and will be missed.?

My deepest condolences to Ross's family at this sudden passing. I have known him since childhood as our parents were close friends, and I still have very fond memories of playing with him and Bev as children at their home in Greenfield Park. Decades later, I came to know Ross again when we were both working at the Globe and Mail and developed a new appreciation of him both as a very fine editor and as a family man with a keen devotion to those closest to him.
Bev, if you see this, my thoughts are with you and your mom.
