Rossey "Reggie" Gibson

I live in England so had not seen Reggie for some years but shall always remember him when he visited Maria's family in England as a very cheerful and fun guy. I also had the pleasure of staying with Maria and Reggie at their home on two occasions and I was very shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and condolences go out to Maria, Christina and Angela. With all my love to you all from Lynn.

I truly miss my "Rose Bud". He was my coworker, my crew mate and my friend. I cherish my memories of him.

His wife and AMAZING daughters are the most beautiful legacy of this colorful man. I didn't know him well, but his family is a living tribute to the legend he was. This family inspires me to live life to the fullest and add more HUMOR ( and MOTOWN!!!) to my every day.....Christina , thank you for calling me a friend. I am a better person for knowing you.

He'll always be remembered for THE STREAK at Washington Center. Nobody could have done it with such style......and speed!!!

We are better people and the country a better place because of Rosie. We often worked together in the 1970's and, to say the least, he was a "character". His quirky sense of humor and endearing personality improved those around him. Rosie made shifts that were tougher than normal a better workday and his consistent dedication to serving the flying public was second-to-none.

Once you met Rosie, you never forgot him. He was the guy we wanted to give a hug when we hadn't seen him for awhile to let him know how much we appreciated him. Sadly he's gone too soon, but he and his family will be forever in our hearts.

I pushed Reggie in his stroller on Washington Street in Lynchburg. As his older first cousin, I was just old enough to do it. My mother and her siblings just adored him and spoiled him shamelessly.
As the years passed, his blonde curls became a little thinner, but he still loved his wheels. Best thing he ever did was bring home a beautiful English bride, who gave him two beautiful daughters. Will miss him terribly.

What a wonderful tribute to Reggie. The stories shared made us smile about his life and the impact he had in the lives around him. We send our love and prayers to all of you.

I had the privilege of working with "The Rose" for many years at the Washington ARTCC. His zany sense of humor invariably made a difficult job much easier. He was truly unique and will be remembered fondly by all the men and women that worked with him. May his memory remain a source of inspiration.

I had the pleasure of working with him for years at ZDC. Prayers for your family's strength, and eventual peace.

At work we called him Rossey and he was quite the character. Everyone who met him was better off for knowing him. I am so sorry for your loss and hope the memories keep you going.

I extend my sympathy to Maria, Cristina, Angela and their families. I remember the fun we had at the Gibson reunion in Williamsburg in August 2016. I will always remember Reggie as a fun guy. God bless all of you.
