Roxana Marquez

Roxana Marquez passed on February 10, 2018. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. Roxana was born March 15th 1965. She was born to Miguel Marquez and Lucila Pinto in San Salvador, El Salvador. She remained in El Salvador until deciding to move to the United States for better life opportunities. Roxana was unmarried. She is survived by her many siblings, most notably Martha, Elba, Helen, and Nancy, as well as her only son, Michael.

Roxana worked as a nanny/housekeeper for over twenty-five years. She was responsible of completing everyday tasks within the household. She also took care of children for numerous families, notably the Garretsons, the Hurleys, and the Polenzanis. The families she worked with were also individuals that she maintained a close personal relationship with, to the extent that she regarded them as family.

In terms of family, Roxana cared deeply for her family members. She performed her utmost in order to provide the best possible support to all her family members. She believed that maintaining a profound relationship with family members was a vital aspect in everyday life. As such, whenever her family members were in need, Roxana would attempt to do her best to help in any way possible.

Friends were just as important for Roxana. She maintained a personal kinship with her closest of friends. She, also, regarded her close, personal friends as family. As such, she enjoyed spending time with her friends whenever possible, as well as doing whatever possible to help out her friends.

As a person, Roxana was a kindhearted, strong, compassionate, and caring individual. As aforementioned, she profoundly cared for her family and friends alike. Roxana was always energetic She believed in progress by any means. As such, she was consistently in motion. She was also resilient and tenacious; a personality she maintained her entire life. And it is this type of personality that helped her in her everyday duties. She believed that beneficial amount of rest would only be attained by copious amounts of hard work. She also loved to attend social events of any kind. She enjoyed partaking in these events with friends and family alike. Prior to being diagnosed, she enjoyed her life to the fullest extent. Roxana would love top travel to any location for new and entertaining experiences. She engaged in many forms of social media, as she enjoyed interacting with other individuals. In her spare time, she also enjoyed watching movies, going to the clubs to dance, and spend time exploring the Internet.
