On behalf of all the members of the Calgary Police Veterans Association, sympathy is extended to the family of Roy Anderson. He served with the Calgary Police Service for a long period of time and was highly regarded. Many of the veterans will have special memories of their friendship and close working association with him and we hope your own happy family memories of him will be a comfort to you at this time.

Roy Anderson was a part of my school days in Stonewall. A good natured, friendly boy who grew into a handsome and friendly man who came to a school reunion in earlier years. How glad I am that I had a visit with him at that time. He will be affectionately remembered always. Joyce Costello Rose

Roy was always smiling, even though he was giving you hell for some rookie indiscretion. A true gentleman who I had the pleasure of working for during my informative years with the CPS. He loved golf and many a time would provide me with tips (they didn't work Roy!)hopefully you are teeing up there with some of your old golfmates, rest in peace.
