ROY ANTAL

It has been two short months since Roy was taken from us. We miss him and think of him every day. If tears could have saved him, he never would have died. They say the "firsts" are the hardest to get through and that is correct. We've already had his first birthday without him and now the first Christmas. Being the man that Roy was, he would not want us to be sad. He accepted his fate and in doing so, taught us how to live our lives to the fullest. We will always remember his dedication to his family, his friends and his career. He was one of the best and we were blessed to have him in our lives. RIP honey! - Bev

Bev, Jon, Krista and families, we are so sorry to learn of your loss. Way back when, in our old neighbourhood, Roy took some lovely photos of our children, which we will always cherish. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

My Condolences to Bev and Family.
I worked at the leader Post before my early retirement and had to meet with the photography department on numerous occasions requesting photos for advertising purposes. Roy was always so willing to help, never thinking I was bothering him or cutting in to his schedule or time. And he always had that little smile on his face like he knew something that I didn't. It was a pleasure knowing him and seeing him at various sporting events throughout the city. What a guy. I know you will all miss him, but his memory will live on forever.

Roy was such a character, he could always light up a room with his charm and humour. Always had a great story to tell. He will be sadly missed.

Roy was the walking definition of a true friend! We called him Uncle Roy and he was the best Uncle anyone could ask for. Our deepest sympathies to Bev, Jon, Krista and family! He will be missed but not forgotten.
