I enjoyed visiting with Uncle Roy the last time he was in St. Louis and when we were both in Germany in 2005. He was someone who accomplished a lot with his life and also knew how to enjoy it.
He was my last living Uncle and will be missed.

John and Shirley Crowe have a variety of memories of Roy as a church member, choir, Boy Scouts, bicycle rider, recorder player, especially with Susan, supporter of Shirley and her work with Chestnut Nursery School and a proud father! Cherish each other. Thanks for the memories. Steve and John are at Camp Dodge in the White Mtns this weekend doing volunteer trail work....I think Roy would be pleased. Last Christmas, was the first Christmas which we did not receive a UNICEF card but I have written to him this past spring. May God's love surround each of you. Shirley

Roy embodied the spirit of Scouting as a volunteer and as a leader. The Mohegan Council and the youth it serves were indeed fortunate to have a man of his character so actively involved for so many years, and we his colleagues will miss his ready smile. Roy's family can be proud of his long record of service - he will not be forgotten.
