I did not get to know you until you were already dealing with dementia, but I wanted to let you know that your daughter is doing everything in her power to try to help others who are and will be affected by dementia. You raised an awesome dedicated woman who you would be proud of and who honors your name every chance she gets!!!

Dear Mrs. Bridges,
I am so sorry to hear that "The Chief" passed away. He was a father figure to me when I was a younger man and first getting involved in law enforcement.
Chief Bridges was the man who gave me a shot while being completely unknown to him. I am forever thankful and grateful for his confidence and support.
I can not thank Chief Bridges enough for the way he treated my brother and I as members of the Hummelstown Police Department. There has been no finer man involved in law enforcement and the court systems of Dauphin County.
Diana, I am sorry for your loss.

Diana,
Roy was one of those rare individuals who really cared about others, regardless of who they were, he took his time to fully understand them and their circumstances. His kindness and friendly attitude will always be remembered.
Roy was, and always will be, a bright candle in a dark world.
Roy Bridges was a professional in everything that he did for others.
Roy was an outstanding and very competent law enforcement officer, police chief, and judge. A man of integrity and honor.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May God bless and keep all of you as He is caring for Roy.

To the Bridges Family;
Roy and I first met back in the 60's when he was a Hampden Twp. Police Ofc. Nad I was at New Cumb. P.D. He left there and went to Hummlestown and I left New Cumb. and went into Corporate Security and our paths crossed on occasion. And I did a couple of bus trips with him over the years. Then in 1980 I became a District Justice here in York County and later Roy came on in 1994 and we often attended our annual schooling together. Roy was just an all around great human being and I am proud to say he and I were friends all those years. May God bless his entire family during this time of sorrow and I send my condolences to all of you. RIP my friend, you have earned it. Job well done. Sincerely,
Roger A. Estep, Senior Magisterial District Judge, York County PA.

Diana ... what an absolutely wonderful man that everyone admired; and you were truly a loving, wonderful and dedicated wife! No matter the situation, he was a fair man of compassion, friendship, dedication and love. So many people are better for meeting, knowing and sharing with him ... and we have been blessed by his and your life!!! "Good memories really do last forever ... and you have so many!"
