I will always remember that welcoming smile. Roy always went of his way to say hi and ask about the family and weather. What a blessing he was to his family and community.

I was saddened to hear of my cousin Roy's passing. He holds a special place in my heart. As a child we traveled to the ranch for holidays and just family get togethers. I remember going to dances all over the hill country with kids in tow. In later years my husband and I would travel to see Roy and Birdie. Roy loved to show us his hill country by traveling the back roads to get cow feed in Stonewall. We would even stop in Luckenbach for a cold beverage. These are only a few of my memories spent with Roy and family. I will miss you Roy. Rest in peace. Our condolences to Birdie Lee and the rest of the family

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Mrs Bruemmer I don't know if you are Vicki remember me, but I remember times from Bible school growing up and coming to your place to visit the very old cemetery in the back of your land with my Mother Helen Klinger and stepdad Leroy Klinger. Vicki was a year younger than me. So Sorry for your loss and Deepest Condolence to all the family.

My family met Roy while we spent our summers camping on the Blanco outside Wimberely, Texas. He and Birdie came with his daughter’s family to enjoy the cool waters and a good smoked brisket.
My family called Roy, Bopie, name given to him by his granddaughter, Roxlyn. I felt we were one BIG family. Thank you so much for including us. Love you BOPIE from
