In memory of

Roy R. Bruno

Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

Mr. Bruno, a fifth grade science teacher at Gill Hall School some forty years ago was feared and respected by all, as he constantly taught and ran a tight ship. There would be no fooling around in Mr. Bruno's class. After twenty years, Roy and I crossed paths again on an invitation to fish in Canada. This started a friendship of immence respect and love. As a rookie, Roy again assumed the teaching role and made me an experienced seasoned fisherman. I was proud to be in his boat and never stopped learning from him. Roy and I would play gin rummy for hours and I would never win a hand. I have enjoyed having coffee in local establishments over the years with Roy and as I fish "our" favorite spots, I will remember my pal--Roy. With love and rememberance, Peter Taucher and Family

Mrs. Bruno, Sally and Chip,

I only have the best memories of Mr. Bruno while growing up in South Park. He was always very supportive of the kids in the neighborhood. My fondest memories are our fishing trips to Canada and his "tin-can" coffee. There was no such thing as a percolator allowed on his boat! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Mrs. Bruno, Sally and Chip,

I was so sad to hear that your dad/husband passed away. He was always such an neat guy.

I have fond memories of growing up next door. His mailbox in front of the shed alway made me laugh.

I sure he felt blessed to have such a great family and live in such a wonderful neightborhood all these years. We'll surely miss

him.

Myself, (Mary E. Kollar) & my mom, (Julia M. Kollar) would like to extend our Deepest Sympathies........

Mr. Bruno was my 5th grade Science Teacher @ Gill Hall Elementary School, & one of my fave teachers. I'm 46 now, & graduated T.J., Class of '76.

When I was born, & until about 15 mos. of age, we lived in ""John Bruno's house"", across from Curry Cleaners.

My mom's brother, George Katula, just sold his home @ 5818 Ridgeview, to live with his daughter.

Mom's been with me since '88, when my father, William J. Kollar passed- away. He would've just turned 88, & mom will be 89 in October.

Mr. Bruno was such a wonderful man------kind & sincere, & a REALLY BIG SMILE!!!!! We will miss him.

Our Thoughts & Prayers are with all of you.

Fondly,

Mary E. & Julia M. Kollar
