Roy CONNOLLY Obituary
Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, on Tuesday August 18, 2015. Roy Connolly at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Anna (Peters)(Eisner). Loving father of June (Rodger) Clarke of Pte. Claire, QC, Douglas (Wendy) Connolly of Halifax, NS, Stephen (Anne) Connolly of Buckhorn, David (Sandi) Connolly of Surrey, BC, Paul Eisner of Guelph, Katherine (Neil) Garber of Ventura, CA and Karen (Gary) Scales of Dorval, QC. Proud grandfather of eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Roy was predeceased by his first wife Audrey (1995), son John Eisner (2008) and his three sisters and five brothers. Roy retired from Bell after over 37 years of service and was co- founder of the Guelph Male Choir. A memorial service will be held at a later date at First Christian Reformed Church, 287 Water Street, Guelph, N1G 1B6. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph 519 824-0031. Memorial contributions to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation, Guelph or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. My deepest condolences. Roy was a valued member of the Osgoode and Ottawa Carleton male choirs and I have many wonderful memories of the numerous choir trips that we shared.
