Although I never met Roy, I followed his story on Facebook and was so inspired that I took the time to research him and learn about his life and admire what he stood for. Deepest condolences to the Englert Family and please know that your Dad had an impact on many many people.

A great man, father & uncle. Fondest memories of hula hoops as gifts at the beginning of that craze & many days on swing set seeing how high he could push us & run under us! Lots of fun! Only later did we realize his bravery in service to the country in war and afterwards in the U.S. treasury. He still retained his love of an active lifestyle, joking around & always on the hunt for chocolate. We will miss you and keep watch with our cousins over what´s important & keeping a good sense of humor.
