My condolences to the Family, It was an Honor to have known your Father. He gave me my first Job in printing at North Hill News in 1965. Though I have not seen him in many years, I will always remember him as a good man and a Great Canadian

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. As a junior staffer in Mr. Farran's office during his term as Alberta Solicitor General I learned much from him about public service, but also saw the enormous joy and pride he took in his family. Although he was a legendary soldier and a proud Albertan, he was also a kind and gracious gentleman. We all share your loss.
