Enjoyed Mr Leadbeater's sculpture I think called 'Santa Claus and his Reindeer' which sat at College Plaza/Whyte ave for many years. For young ones it served as a playground as well as a meeting point. Was happy to later discover it had a new home at the Citadel painted in a brilliant blue. A gifted artist. My condolences to Mr Leadbeater's family.

Enjoyed his modernist sculpture I think called 'Santa Claus and his Reindeer' which sat at College Plaza/Whyte ave for many years. For young ones it served as playground equipment as well as a local meeting point. Was happy to discover years later it found a new home at the Citadel painted in a brilliant blue. A gifted artist. My condolences to the family.

To me you were a lover of a funny joke, a kind word, a beautiful idea, ambitions and culture. To me you were always kind and always good. To you I was always Andy and never Andrea. I love you so much and will remember you in heart and mind and honour you in spirit and in life.

I still have warm memories of you Roy every time I see the candle holder sculpture you gave me as a house warming gift. You are one of a few people who truly had class! I have been blessed to know you. Judeen

I remember me and dad in the Marcos going 140 mph. And I said to dad" we are on fire".. (muffler dragging, we did some air time ) we stopped and got the muffler fixed in red ears(red deer) and got home in one piece, god I loved those days.

I'm Neal Waldron and I worked with Roy at the legislature power plant for a number of years . I enjoyed Roy's since of humour , like him telling me about being picked up on the highway for speeding to Calgary and telling the cop he had two gears left after the cop said he was flat out . Rest in pease Roy I will always hint of you .
