Uncle Roy, I will always have great memories of your humor, intelligence, decency, and overall easy-going manner. I really used to enjoy talking about history with you, especially World War II. Over the years I have really missed the good old Clare picnics and seeing you on a more regular basis. I was really saddened to learn of your passing. My best to Laura and Kristen!!!

Uncle Roy!!!! I fondly remember his nonchalance about most things…..except driver's training! "Always become familiar with the car you are driving"!! I will miss his smile and interest in people. He was a great listener!

A life long friend for over 50 years. One of first people I met when I started my career in Clare, Michigan. Roy and I were roommates until we both got married about a year apart. Our families did things together and just last year, Dick Roe and I traveled to Florida to see Roy for last time. We had great times laughing and remembering lots of things together for past 50 years. Great friend and a Christian man... what more can you say of a person? He is just fine now with his God.

Mr. Leinweber was my driving instructor at Farwell High school in 1990. I took a left, and then on my right hand turn, I hopped a curb. I stopped the car and looked at him...he said "keep going"....That man had nerves of steel. Thank you mr. leinwebber...thank you.
