Roy Overton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to Mr. Roy Ernest Overton. Our father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind his children, Richard Overton, Kelly Harvey, Stephen Overton (wife Heather Monks) Brenda Overton (husband Rusty Turner) James Overton, grandchildren & great grandchildren. He worked until retirement as Fire Warden/Logger. For many years dad was a Lions Lodge member which he loved and took pride in of Courtenay. Anyone who knew our dad, would always hear him say "Let me put it this way." You may be gone, but will be forever be close to our hearts. Dad we love you.

He was a great uncle and had a very contagious laugh that would light up the room. My heart goes out to my cousins and all his family.

Amazing father and awesome grandfather, who kept every promise, attended every concert/dance recital/graduation, listened and comforted children's woes and whipped away tears, as you always told us, so we feel the same "love you to pieces" always, our world is not same without you in it! Thanks for always being there.
