Cindy,

I wanted you to know that I was honored to speak during Roy's celebration of life service and say the following "Roy's life was full of love, joy and humor. Roy was a good friend to me and Dave. He was our buddy and we loved him. He always had a smile. He made us laugh and feel special. Family and friends were his prized possessions. Roy was a humble and honorable man who always looked at the good in everyone and on the bright side of life.

Dave and I are forever grateful and richer for having him in our lives. He will be missed"

Roy was a wonderful friend to me and Dave and we are forever grateful to have had him in our lives. He always made us laugh and feel special. He will be missed.

The poem below reminds me of Roy and his uplifting personality.

Don't cry for me today
I wouldn't want it this way.
Be strong and smile,
For you will see me in a while.
I know you miss me,
But now in Heaven I will be.
Do not keep your sad face,
I am in a much better place.
Do not let your tears fall,
For I cannot wipe them all.
Live every moment as if it were your last,
I won't forget any memories that have passed.
Cherish life and love as I watch you from above.
As I remember all of the good things,
I come to see I have gotten my wings.
It is time to go and fly,
As your guardian angel I will try.
Don't cry for me today,
I'm on my way.
Soaring through the sky,
I watch all of you telling me goodbye.

Love , Janice and Dave

Roy was indeed the kindest, friendliest man who had a special gift with people. Anyone who had a conversation with him knew that he had his complete attention on what you were saying and usually you would both be laughing out loud (LOL) We all loved being with Roy & Cindy and always had a wonderful time; even seeing a bad play together. We Love and Miss You Roy! Doris, Diane & Ron

DEAR CINDY, CASEY, KYLE AND FAMILY. THIS VERSE CLEARLY SAYS HOW WE FEEL ABOUT ROYS' PASSING.
GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED. AND A CURE WAS NOT TO BE.
SO HE PUT HIS ARMS AROUND YOU AND WHISPERED COME TO ME.
WITH TEARFUL EYES WE WATCHED YOU AS YOU SLOWLY SLIPPED AWAY.
AND THOUGH WE LOVED YOU DEARLY WE COULDN'T MAKE YOU STAY.
YOUR GOLDEN HEART STOPPED BEATING. YOUR TIRED HANDS PUT TO REST.
GOD BROKE OUR HEARTS TO PROVE TO US. HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
OUR DEAR BROTHER ROY EPITOMIZED ALL THE GOOD THINGS OF LIFE, HIS LOVE OF FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COUNTRY. WE MISS HIM DEARLY.
SO DEAR ROY UNTIL WE CAN PUT OUR ARMS AROUND YOU AGAIN AND SAY HELLO OL ROY WE WILL REMEMBER ALL OUR GOOD TIMES TOGETHER.
WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, RON AND SHIRLEY

A couple years ago my Dad, Roy Robinson, was diagnosed with cancer. He fought and won, beating the one thing I couldn't hate more (cancer). Shortly down the road, our worst fear happened and his cancer returned. He fought and fought, never giving up or losing hope. On Friday, November 18th 2016, with family and friends by his side, my dad peacefully passed away. He was truly a loving and caring father to me, my brother Casey Robinson, and sister Laura Mulvaney. He was also an incredible husband to my beautiful and amazing Mom Cindy Robinson. He was caring to everyone he was around and would lift your spirt. I will truly and forever love you Dad and there will never be a day that I don't miss you. RIP TO YOU, THE ONE WHO WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER BE MY DAD. I WILL LOVE YOU FOR ETERNITY.
