So very sorry to hear of Sam's passing. He was a all around wonderful person.It will not be the same not seeing his face and laughing with him! God speed my friend!

I learned a lot from Sam. I think he had a bigger influence on my life than he realized. I definitely would not person the same person I am today if he had not been apart of my life. I will always remember that smile and little laugh the he would do.

Words cannot describe the lost we feel. Sam fought long and hard. He is gone, but not forgotten

I will always remember Sam (aka) Sambo and our times together growing up and hanging out at the Crossroads. He was a close friend to my entire family. I'll always remember camping in the back yard at Sam's childhood home when we were very young. Playing under giant elephant ears to avoid the rain. Touring Pop's chicken house. Good times when we, and society, was more innocent. Sam has always been with me, popping up in my memories, even though our lives moved on different paths. A truly sweet person...My condolences to all of Sam's family and friends...

Sam was a buddy of my brother Don Wasmund in school days. I remember them as being good friends. Sam will be missed by many of his friends and I recall his kindness to my mom. My sympathy to the whole family and his many friends.
