Royce Holland was of the greatest and finest people I´ve had the privilege of knowing. He excelled on so many levels.
Business wise, Royce was a visionary. More than anyone else, Royce created the competitive telecom industry and set the foundation for today´s dynamic Internet industry. But for Royce´s vision and drive, the competitive telephone industry may have never happened.
Royce was a tremendous executive. He inspired people and brought the most out of them.
Further, Royce was a tremendous mentor. Many of today´s leaders in the telecom sector owe their positions to Royce.
He provided great leadership and insight for years.
He was also a great friend and a tremendous advocate for whatever he did.
He truly left a mark in the world.
He was a unique person and will be greatly missed by hundreds of people he has touched.
