Ruben Diaz

DIAZ Ruben Diaz, age 51, went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2010 surrounded by his beloved family. Ruben was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather of twenty grandchildren. He enjoyed watching all types of sports and was a man with a big heart. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his son, Jacob Diaz and grandfather, Adolpho Garza.He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-three years, Magdalena 'Maggie' Diaz; children, Marvin Diaz, Adolpho (Liza) Diaz, Anthony (Christina) Diaz, Roxanne (Alex Negrete) Diaz, and Jessica (Mike Franco) Diaz; parents, Ruben and Olga Diaz; his stepfather Hernan 'Gringa' Rodriguez; sisters, Olga 'BB' Salinas, Morayma, Esperanza, Sandra and Joann Diaz; numerous family and friends.Visitation will begin June 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel at 549 Cheyenne, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
