I wish we had more MEN Zlike Ruben!! God only knows how much we need em in today's times!

We follow a pathway that has no end
as we travel through life day by day.
Together with those who are dear to our hearts
and are there by our side, come what may
But sometimes a loved one must travel ahead
for reasons that aren't always clear.
And we're left behind to continue along,
missing one who is no longer here.
And while it may seem that the pathway has stopped,
it merely has rounded a bend,
And our loved one goes on to a much brighter place
down the pathway that has no end. I love you Josie praying for you and the family.

I mourn your loss. My dad was a '39 Central classmate. Ruben and Josie opened up their K-W home to us for a Night of Saints and Scolars to celebrate St Paddy's Day. And, I remember working with them on St Mary's Irish Festival.
Ruben was a wonderful gentleman. God bless him.

My father-in-law, was the most amazing man I ever knew besides my father. I met my father-in-law eight years before I met my husband, his son Carlos. from the moment I met him he took me in and show me so much love. After I was blessed with my son Matthew, Grandpa Ruben and Grandma Josie embraced us with kindness and love. Ruben, was like a father to me and after the loss of my father, I will never forget him telling I will always be here daughter. Ruben, always had gentle words for you, He was wise, and full of wisdom, and laughs. When he would toast before a beer with the family " He would say here's looking at you kid". I love you dad. I have another angel protecting me in heaven. Matt, was so proud to have you as his beloved grandpa.
