This is a photo of Ruby at my dad's 90's birthday party in 2002. She and Julius drove to Annapolis with my parents for my graduation back in 1966. It was always fun to listen to her adventures in reading headstones in obscure cemeteries to trace family roots. A great lady with boundless energy.

Miss Ruby has been a fixture at Highland Baptist Church for my whole life. I have known and loved her and her Haddock family for many, many years.

Mr.Haddock, I am so saddened at your loss. I will be thinking of all of you.

Ms. Ruby was a precious lady and will be missed at Merrill Gardens. We loved visiting with her and her telling us about her and Gertha's young days and all about her wonderful full life. She was so proud to reach that 100th birthday.
Our love and prayers are with you all.

Every time I came back to Florence I thought of Ruby, but never visited her. I was employed at the Buick Comany when she and Julius got married. The last letter I got from her was when Julius had his 100 b'day. She sent the article and pictures of the two of them. She was a lovely lady and my thoughts are with the family.
