Ruby Caudill Obituary
URBANA - Ruby Faye Caudill, 77, of Troy, Ohio went to be with her Lord Thursday, October 12, 2017 in her sister's home surrounded by her loving sisters and family.
She was born October 21, 1939 in Staffordsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Grant and Angieline (Jayne) Caudill. Ruby worked at Lawnview Industries. She attended Mechanicsburg Freewill Baptist, also the Troy Freewill Baptist, Troy, Ohio. Ruby loved praying for the sick. She loved little babies and children. Ruby also loved children's books, dolls and stuffed animals. Ruby was a special angel loved by all who knew her.
Ruby is survived by her sisters, Anna Lee (Richard) Hildreth, Beulah M. (Clarence) Logel, JoAnn Brugh and Mary E. (Larry "Mr. T") Thompson; her special little dog Oreo (Percy); as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul F. Caudill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen L. Tackett, Mabel (Everett) Blanton, Jr. and Robert Brugh.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017 in VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the funeral home with Pastors Rev. Jesse Walters and Rev. Dwight Stump officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, 550 Summit Ave., Suite 101, Troy, OH 45373 or Troy Freewill Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall Fund, 2482 S. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373.

Ruby was so sweet and funny and spunky! I just loved being around her. She had such a light in her. The way her sisters and TJ were always orbiting around her kept her safe and sound and very happy. She was an original. I will miss her.
