Dickens, Ruby Taylor A retired department store saleswoman and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, in Baton Rouge. She was 98 and a native of Greenwood, Miss. Visiting at First Presbyterian Church parlor, 763 North Blvd., on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 1 p.m. until religious service in Dunham Chapel at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Gerritt S. Dawson, the Rev. Richard Gates and the Rev. A. Russell Stevenson. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Rose Dickens Chauser of Baton Rouge; two grandsons, Louis Dickens Chauser and David Steven Chauser; and four great-grandchildren, Melissa Marin, Michael David, Erika Leigh and Erin Michelle Chauser. Preceded in death by her husband, Julius M. Dickens. She was a past member of Order of Eastern Star, First Presbyterian Church and the Welcome Sunday school class of First Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 763 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was a wonderful woman who loved her family. She's now in heaven with all her siblings.
