Ruby Hambrick

Ruby Hambrick, 92 of Chattanooga, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016. She was born in Chattanooga, to the late Will Willis and Georgia Ball-Neal. She was retired from the Salvation Army, where she was employed as a Master Chef for many years. She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Shephard, Wanda Knowles and Belinda Moore, all of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Sam McElroy, Jessie (Latrecia) Montgomery Jr., Ann (Collins), Jasmine Montgomery and Shannon Shephard; eight great-grandchildren; two great great- grandchildren; devoted cousin, Patricia Ball-Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends. The body will lie in state Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, from noon until 5 p.m., at the Advantage Chapel. Graveside services will be Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at noon at Forest Hills Cemetery, with Bro. Steve Trimble officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
