Ruby Hamilton Obituary
Surviving are her two daughters; JoAnn Ivey and Deanie (Jamie) Slayton, one son; Russell (Martha ) Hamilton, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joel B. and son, Richard Hamilton. She will be remembered, as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hamilton will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 1770 Johnson Ferry Rd. Marietta, GA with Pastor Susan Landry and Rev. Cassie Rapko officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 24, 2017, at the funeral home. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Online tributes may be made at www.hmpattersoncantonhill.com

I want to share with everyone how much I loved my MAMA RUBY and what a wonderful MAMA she was to me ! I enjoyed spending lots of time with her over the years of my life and looking after her these last 20 months. I will miss her very much! I can look back and know that I made the most of every minute that I had with her! I will treasure all of those precious moments always! I also have comfort and peace knowing that she is in Heaven and I will see her again.
