Ruby Ivy

Ruby was born September 1st, 1934 in Powhatan, Arkansas to Edwin and Nellie Baldridge. She passed peacefully with her loving family by her side after a short battle with cancer on July 19, 2023.

Ruby was a dedicated telephone operator for 27 years with PacBell then AT&T. She loved to be with her family and friends either attending church and Sunday school, shopping, cooking, camping, traveling, reading, and doing word search puzzles. She once visited the Holy Lands in the 1990's and moved to Montana where her and Ben spent 10 years of their life. She enjoyed watching the Montana Lady Grizz basketball games and the Sacramento Kings. She never knew a stranger and always could light up a room with her beautiful smile and laugh. Ruby was also a true American patriot.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 70 years Ben Ivy, her daughter Debbie Jones(Fred), grandchildren Kristin Jarvis(Jason), Derek Jones, great-grandkids Garrett and Hailey Jarvis, elder sister Hazel Matthews, and Sister in law Deloris Baldridge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Celbra Milligan(Tony), Ray Baldridge(Lily), Alfred Baldridge, Wilma Webb(Waymon), and Brother in law Earl Matthews.

As Ruby would always say "Lord Willing" Services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 11am at River Valley Church.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to River Valley Church as Ruby worshiped the Lord there and lived by his word. God Bless you all that have made an impact on her long beautiful life.
