Ruby Callis Jones

Ruby Dunaway Jones, 94, of Highland Springs, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. She was a woman of faith and experienced her greatest joy in life while active at New Bridge Baptist Church, where she was a life-long member. She was sociable and had an outgoing personality which can be attested by her many loyal and faithful friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Jones; and two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Rita LeRoy; grandchildren, Christopher Dean LeRoy and Shannon LeRoy Hensley; three great-granddaughters, Jesse, Kyndall and Jaiden; great-grandson, Jacob; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park.
