LANG, Ruby Ruth
It is with great sadness that Ruby's family announces her passing on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Minnie Rosom; and brothers Ernest, Edward (Louise) and Walter. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years Albert; children Reta (Les) Stobee and Marvin (Karla); grandchildren Daniel (Whitney) Stobee, and Shane, Jaysy, and Jenny Lang; sister-in-law Vera Rosom; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Southey Baptist Church, Southey, SK on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Darold Sauer officiating. Donations in memory of Ruby may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina SK S4P2R3. Albert, Marvin & Family:
I was so sorry to read of the passing of this beautiful woman.
From the time I remembering meeting her I thought she was a sweetheart. I ran into her and Albert one day at Northgate, the last time I saw her, and had a beautiful visit. She always held her head up high no matter what she was going through. She always had a glow about herself even though suffering at the same time. She was truly a jewel in life.
I would so love to be at the funeral with my mother who thought the world of her also but unfortunately my mother suffered a serious fall and will not be going for quite a while.
Cherish the beautiful memories you have of her and hold each other tight.
You will be in our hearts and prayers.
