COMMERCE — Ruby Lafay Marriott, 88, of Campbell passed away July 28, 2009, in Tyler.Ruby was born in Quinlan on Sept. 22, 1920, to Benjamin H. and Bonnie Elizabeth Kimberling Warren. She was a seamstress with Haggar Pants Company.Her husband, Gilbert Marriott, preceded her in death.Survivors include her son, Eddie (Karen) Marriott of Paris, Texas; a daughter, Lynn (Sandy) Black of Grand Prairie; sister Frances Ross of Louisiana; six grandchildren, Brian, Mark and Chad Marriott and Christina, Price and Clint Walker; nine great-grandchildren, Summer, Kina, Josh, Dustin, Chrystal, Dustyn, Tina, Emily and Jacob; and five great-great-grandchildren, John, Aries, Oreha, Walker and Skylar.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.Visitation is scheduled at 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.Online registry and condolences are available at www.jones-walkerandson.com
