RUBY FLORENCE McNEILL

McNEILL, RUBY FLORENCE (nee MacEWEN) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in her 86th year. She joins her beloved late husband Andrew McNeill in his open arms. Loving mother to Dan (Dawn), Andrea (Mark Mulder), Jeff and Sheelah (Martha). Adored Grammie to her grandkids: Kristen, Suzanne, David, Christopher, Eric, Meaghan, Andrew, Rosemary, Matthew and Emily. Survived by her MacEwen family - sisters Claire and Lucy and brothers Hollis, Harvey, Neil, Heath and Eric and many relatives and close friends in Canada and abroad. Ruby was a nurse, Sunday school teacher, an active leader for over 50 years in the Girl Guides and a fervent supporter of her birthplace, Prince Edward Island. A celebration of life will be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. Scarborough, Ontario, on August 25, 2018 – Visitation: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Operation Smile Canada, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
