Mrs. Moss went into the nursing profession in the 1950's, and was employed at Bronson Methodist Hospital for 31 years until she retired in 1989. She was a true caregiver, not only for her family but for many patients, and known for her many charitable contributions. She was an avid sports fan, especially for Detroit sport franchises. Mrs. Moss was a devoted mother to her children, Tamara Lynn and Dawn Michele. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Luther, and daughter, Dawn Michele; her Mother Carrie and Stepfather Ivory Torain. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tamara Lynn (Deon) Yates of Chesterfield, Michigan; two grandchildren, David (Delia) Taylor of Miami, Florida, and Brandon Taylor of Chesterfield, Michigan; one great grandchild, Sofia Taylor of Miami, Florida; Goddaughter April (Vance) Goodwin; one stepsister Frances Brown-Topps of Compton California; one uncle Clyde (Sallie) Toney Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
