My sincere condolences go out to the family of my aunt Ruby, especially to her 6 children, my cousins. I remember Aunt Ruby as a high spirited and generous person. Back in the early 60's Aunt Ruby took care of my sister, Katy, and me for several days when my mom was in the maternity ward. Our visit included a very fun summertime family picnic at Hillcrest Park. I have many fond memories of family gatherings at the home Uncle Grady built on Concord.

Ruby was a talented painter. She encouraged Katy with her artwork and this has meant a lot to my sister. Aunt Ruby certainly led a multi-faceted life; she was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, artist, traveler, fisherwoman, bookkeeper in the family business, and much more, I am sure. But most of all, my aunt Ruby was a good and kind human being.

It is so hard to lose a loved one! You completed an awesome job raising 6 kids! If only there were more loving Mother's like you in this world! May you rest in peace until Jesus's face you see when He returns to claim those that love Him! May Jesus loving arms surround the family, wonderful caregivers and friends at this time of loss. Love and hugs, Susie Neal
