Ruby Panyako Obituary
She is survived by her brothers Ron (Brenda) Ramer of Firestone, CO, Steve (Linda) Ramer of Aurora, CO, Eldon Ramer of Arvada, CO, Lester (Mary) Ramer of Seneca, MO, her son Thomas (Ashley) Panyako and grandson Thomas "Taz" Panyako of Arvada, CO, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her chosen family including daughter, Ana (Wicho) Zamora, granddaughter Rubymarie Zamora, and grandson Rosalino Zamora.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Amanda (Bontrager) Ramer, brothers, Larry Ramer and Jerry Ramer, and sisters, Stella Ramer and Marjorie (Ramer) Jacobs.
Ruby could light up any room and truly had the best sense of humor. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and person in general. She received a nursing degree from Hesston College and later went on to work as a psychiatric nurse at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center in Goshen, Indiana. Upon retiring, Ruby joined a majority of her family in Colorado.
Ruby was known for her love of puzzles and often framed her finished work. She also enjoyed sewing, bingo nights with her friends, and playing board games with her grandson.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 from 12:30 - 3:30 PM at a Recreation Center at 701 Fifth St in Frederick, CO 80530

We just saw Ruby's obit in the Goshen News, so sorry. We fondly remember her sense of humor. She was at our house several times for meals. Her son, Tom went to camp at Amego same time as our son, Matt, don't know if they remember that.

Ruby was a wonderful friend, I could talk to her about anything. I am so glad that we met in a singles group many years ago. She was a comfort in times of trial. I was looking forward to playing some games with her, maybe even going to the bingo group, but that was not to happen. I think we will all miss Ruby and her unique sense of humor.
