Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Auntie Ruby was a very special lady. I loved listening to all her stories and the laughter we shared during visits. So glad we were able to share her 90th birthday this past summer with everyone. She will be greatly missed.

Ruby was such a wonderful person and great cook. She was so good to me when I boarded with her. I had a terrific visit with her this summer. My thoughts go out to her family and many friends.

Spent many days in Aunt Ruby's home with cousins. She was a generous, kind hearted woman. Thinking of you all."

She said what she meant and meant what she said. There was always laughter, music and food when the families gathered. So many memories to cherish... Thank You Auntie Ruby for being such a special person in our lives!

I think back to all the family visits to Rockglen to visit grandma. Some of my favorite times. She will live forever in our stories. Love you grandma. Rest in peace.

I so loved being one of Ruby's many caregivers at Grasslands. Her cooperativeness, honesty and humor made her a pleasure to be around. She was truly ready to enter into her new "life" and for that we feel compassion and relief when her wish was granted. For family left behind there is sadness and you will forever miss your Mom and Granny. A special lady like her must be leaving behind a host of beautiful memories to hold on to!

My deepest condolences to the family, I was so glad I made the time to spend some time with Auntie Ruby right before her 90th Birthday. I will always remember the Kanten Family gatherings we use to have almost every weekend, just like they were yesterday. Those were the best times! I know there will be a seat waiting for her at Auntie Eunice's and dad's table.

I'm so sorry Sue. Your Mom was lucky to have you close by and I know you will miss her. Hang onto all of those good memories.
