J.H. Battle, Pastor Officiating. Interment church yard. Survivors son, Mr. Roy Peters, Jr., daughters, Ms. Katie L. Smith, Ms. Lovie Gilmore, Ms. Gussie Miller, devoted grandson that she raised, Mr. Herbert Peters, step-son, Mr. Robert Peters, step-daughter, Ms. Annie R. Scruggs, sisters, Ms. Mary Lemon, Detroit, MI, Ms. Annie Kate Telfare, Ms. Minnie L. Hurd, of Atlanta, 19 grandchildren, a host of great-grand and great-great-grandchildren, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends TONIGHT 7-9 at the residence. Cortege will assemble 11:30 at residence. Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home (Family Owned and Operated) 1003 Ralph D.
