Ruby Radocaj Obituary
Loving and selfless, her life's biggest joy was raising her family. Her door was always open and the food was always plentiful. Especially her famous baking. We will always remember her smile, her laugh, and how special she was. She was an extraordinary wife and mother. Her strong faith in God and our Blessed Mother Mary has taken her into their open arms.
Ruby was born, March 27th, 1920 in Cass, West Virginia and was the daughter of Roza (Zemljak) Yurcic and Miko Yurcic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Rudolph Radocaj, Sr., her daughter Ljuba Radocaj and her son Nicholas Radocaj, four brothers, Tom, Mitch, Steve, Nick and one sister Mary Prstac.
Ruby is survived by her son Rudy Radocaj, Jr. and his wife Patti and daughters Arlene Carricato, Jeanette Radocaj, Gayle Kepp and her husband Richard.
Her grandchildren, Stephen and (Linda) Radocaj, Stephanie and (Mike) Glavin, Sherri and (Irv) Kalik, Lisa and (Mark) Franklin, her great grandchildren Marco Radocaj, Ruby Lahr, Luke Glavin, Jake Glavin, Rachel Kalick, Max Kalick, Olivia Franklin and Aaron Franklin. Great-great-grandchildren, Rudy Radocaj, Ryan Radocaj, Konrad Lahr and Kora Lahr: and all of her loving nieces and nephews from the Yurcic, Radocaj, Vulich & Gustin families. Also the Kepp family, Richard, Sr., Grace & Terri.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton & Bressler Ladies Auxiliary.
Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 5th at 11:00am at Prince of Peace, 815 S. Second Street, Steelton, PA with Very Rev. Robert M. Gillelan, Jr., her pastor as celebrant.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania Inc. www.pennlive.com/obits

Dear Sweet Momma,
Our family was blessed to have you in our lives to the age of 95. We hoped you would make it to 100 but I believe that you wanted to be with your beloveds in heaven. As your daughter, I heard you call out towards the end for our daddy, brother Nicky, grammy, sister Ljubica, teta Rosie and so many others that had passed and that were dearly loved by you. The thought of you being reunited with them helps to sustain me now.
I will miss you all the days of my life. I feel like a bright light has gone out in my life but I know that your light shines even brighter in heaven.
You were a treasure on earth. I love you with all my heart, dearest Momma.

While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet her again! Oh our dear, dear Ruby, one of the most lovely souls to grace this earth and our lives. Adam and I will always remember her special qualities. Fun, witty, loving, spiritual, a grand ole gal! We will never meet another such as she. We love her and admire her, the love and beauty of her family we could all only hope to have. This alone can tell you the love she has instilled in them and they in her. As you all stood by her side easing her journey, I know was not easy. But I know she was ready to be on the other side with her loves that have gone before her. I am sure they are celebrating her arrival home with all the love and warmth that you have given her here on earth. God be with her on her new journey in the most beautiful place imaginable with love surrounding her. Bless you Ruby you will forever be in our hearts. Much love to the Radocaj family.

Dear Radocaj Families,
you have an angel in Heaven. Mom was the best to her family- always taking care of each one of you till she couldn't anymore, and you were good to her also. Glad you never took her out of Bressler. What wonderful memories at your house as a child -- Arlene when your 2 younger sisters came , Mom was really busy. Life changes,kids grown and gone and back again with more kids -that's life. Ruby treasured each and everyone of you. I know she will be missed but not forgotten as you have a part of her in you. God Bless -keep the bonds of family. It means everything.

Grammy, I can honestly say I am a lucky girl to have you not only as a great grandmother but my best friend! I will cherish all the memories we have together. From the times I would come over and we would watch all my children and judge Judy together to the great summer days we would sit outside and eat your favorite fruits. Growing up I always came over and watched you bake your amazing pies and you took care of me when I was sick. Thank you for being Such an amazing person and a big part of my life. I love you always and forever!
