Ruby Mae Robinson

Robinson, Ruby Mae Born December 25, 1924, passed away January 10, 2014. Born to the late Jack and Ethel Rucker. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Sam Robinson; siblings, Judge Rucker, Odessa Peterson, Bernice Perry; brother-in-law, Earnest Peterson; nephew, John Rucker. She was formerly employed at Bryan Manufacturing Co. & L&B management. She was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Survived by sister, Charlene Young (New York); sister-in-law, Lula Rucker; 5 nieces, Mary Brown, Brenda Peterson, Tamara Gunn, Lynette Rucker, Robyn Rucker, all of Gary; 2 nephews, Ernie (Semona) Peterson Sr., Lawrence (Doris) Peterson Sr. (Merrillville); cousins, Bezell Grady, Sally Hamilton and a host of great-nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Friday, January 17, 2014, at 9:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church 1741 Fillmore St., Gary, Indiana, Pastor Isaac Culver Jr.officiating. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
