Veronica A. Fraker

On the afternoon of June 29, 2022, Veronica Ann Fraker of Springfield, Massachusetts died at the age of 80 . “Vera” was born in 1941 in Dublin, Ireland and moved to the United States in 1964 where she raised two children, Patrick and Siobhan. In 1995 she married William Fraker and together they formed a life-long bond of mutual love, support, and happiness. Vera retired from a career in retail where her contagious smile and enthusiasm not only made her successful with customers, but also garnered her many of her closest friends. Vera was an avid home chef and thoroughly enjoyed collecting cookbooks and creating meals for two or twenty at a moments notice. She was well known for her sense of humor, her contagious laughter, and her generous spirit.
Vera is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Fraker, her parents, and sister, Georgina. She is survived by children Patrick and Siobhan, stepchildren Emily and Spencer, granddaughter Molly, sister Marie and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held in the near future.
