Grammy,
I took your zebra (Purple People Eater as you named him) to your funeral today. He wanted to come along and say goodbye. I promise that I'll take good care of him for you. I miss you here but I know youre up there safe and healthy in heaven. I can't wait til the day when we will all be together again. 95 years is a long time, and what a wonderful life you lived. I just wanted to let you know that in that time you were here, you touched so many lives and had such a lasting impact on so many people. You will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
love you!

My heart is broken for you all. At the same time, I have peace knowing that Aunt Ruby is with Grandmother and Dad, along with the rest of the family in Heaven. I will miss her laugh, her smile, and love. I will be unable to be at the service due to work, but know that all of you are in my heart and my prayers. I love you all.
