Ruby Taylor

Ruby I. Taylor the daughter of Glenn and Lora (Hunsaker) Heller was born February 28, 1930 at Oberlin, Kansas. She passed away on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at the Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska at the age of 84 years. Ruby was united in marriage to William D. Taylor, to this union one son David L. was born. Ruby and David lived in Ravenna, NE where she worked at the Safeway Store and then at the Grand Island Ammunition Depot. In 1972 they moved to McCook, Nebraska where she worked at Electric Hose and Rubber which is now Park Industries until her retirement. Ruby was a resident at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, William, sisters Glenda Conney, Maxine Mockry, Bonnie Bethel and brother Daughn Heller. Survivors include her son David L. Taylor and wife Joann of Superior, NE; grandchildren: Tracy Page and husband Nick of Lincoln, NE; Jesse Taylor and wife Tiffany of Denver, CO; great granddaughter Kenley Taylor, two great grand puppies Gidget and Mollie; sister Roxie Tuller of McCook, NE; sister-in-law Judy Heller, nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Memorial services were held on Saturday 2:00 PM, April 5, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, McCook, Nebraska with Pastor Alisa Parde officiating.
