Ruby Irene Womack Thompson passed away peacefully at her residence in Keller on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at the age of 91. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brenton Thompson officiating. Burial follows in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Ruby was born on March 24, 1925, in Steiner and was married to Gilbert Earl Thompson Sr. for more than 64 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Mildred Simpkins, sister, Hazel McIntosh; brother, Joe Womack; and her parents. Survivors: Daughters, Thelda Kiowski of Lewisville, Anne Kemp of Krum, Elizabeth Thompson of Keller, Vera Alexander and husband, Bob, of Whitesboro; son, Gilbert Thompson Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Houston; 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
