Ruby Lee Ward, age 87, of Glenwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born on October 25, 1925 in Glenwood, the daughter of Lee Jester and May Pettijohn Jester. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Bobby Galloway; her second husband, Raymond Buck; five brothers, Thurman Jester, Roy Jester, Cloy Jester, Otis Jester and Shirley Jester; and two sisters, Mary Lee Jester and Rady Miller. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Glenwood. A full time florist in her younger years, she later picked up the game of golf. Ruby enjoyed being outdoors and playing golf with all of her friends. She is survived by her husband, Guy Ward of Glenwood; four children and their spouses, Freda and Dick West of Rockwall, Texas, Ron and Jan Galloway of Hot Springs, Donna and Bill West of Glenwood and Greg and Jodie Galloway of Glenwood; her step-daughter, Lisa Forga of Glenwood; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in the Mount Tabor Community Church with Bro. Phillip Miller and Bro. J. B. Evans officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rob Galloway, David Galloway, Heath Galloway, Scott McCallister, Russ Rauls, Lynn West, Jeff Light, Michael Martin, Billy Minton and Cliff Kroll.
