I'm sure Rudy is making all the angels in heaven with his passed on friends, families and many customers he served. God bless you Rudy. You were a great mentor to me.

I'm sorry to have missed this until now. I was a paramedic in Wilkinsburg / Edgewood / Swissvale from 1976 through the late 80's. Rudy fed us well. If we got a call in the middle of our meals, which was often, he would always remake the order when we returned, even if we'd already eaten 90% of the first one. Rest peacefully Rudy. I offer my condolences and prayers to your family.

I will never forget Rudy. He let me operate his pizza shop at 16 yrs old in 1968-70 3 nights a week. He taught me everything and trusted me to be a one man operation. Rest in peace to Rudy, a real leader and a mentor!
