Dearest Rita & Raoul, I met Rudy after 30+ years for the Don Bosco reunion. We just connected like there was no thirty year gap. I remember Rudy loved the drums as a boy in school. We are ever grateful to Rudy, you & Raoul for sharing your home for the Reunion. Rest assured you & Raoul are a part of our family. Mildred, Kirk & Gerson.

Dear Rita and Raoul...words can not express my sadness and the sense of loss that I feel. Rudy was a friend first, a fellow choir member as well. I have many happy memories. I remember the Sunday that he forgot to change the clock with the time change. I had to sing the Psalm for him, while he was outside in the van practicing it. I remember many Sundays where I would slap my thights so he could see the beat that Noel was using for the music. I remember singing with him at a Wedding in Toronto. I remember the many choir parties, Kay's party and your beautiful anniversary celebration. How he love you! Rudy will always be remembered and every Sunday, I will hear him playing the drums in Heaven. Love Laura

It is with shock and great sadness that I heard of Rudy's passing. I will never forget his warm smile, his kindness, love for music and witty sense of humour. Above all else, he was a wonderful human being.

At this time, words are of little consolation and so the comfort is in knowing that he is now at peace and no longer suffering. Words alone cannot express our sympathy on the untimely death of your beloved Rudy "Dad". To say that his time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that all who loved and knew him will sorely miss him.

No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since his parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked he was. “Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love.
